With the national presidential primaries continuing to be a horserace, Texas is going to be a big player in the March
election, which means one thing - Big voter turnout.
Along with the national elections, Montague County has several
hotly contested local races, which will boost the political interest on March 4. With a large turnout anticipated, County
Clerk Glenda Henson is encouraging voters to vote early to avoid possible delays and long waits on election day.
Early
voting takes place from Feb. 19 to Feb. 29 at the county clerk’s office in the courthouse. Henson said votes can be
cast for either party primary from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. daily.
